I worked as an Engineering Draughtsperson for almost my entire career so it was good training for seeing things in 3D.
The last 5 years were at Mencap supporting people.
I’ve carved for over 25 years, starting at Novice and working my way up through the different groups until now where I am in Advanced.
I’ve always painted pictures in Oils and Watercolour and when I started carving I added Acrylics to the list as they are good for painting on wood and dry so much quicker.
I’ve had some good Trophies for my carving including British Champion.
