A traditonal Decoy Duck Carver, I have been carving working decoy ducks and wildfowl in the traditional American style since the mid eighties.
Having discovered one of America’s unique folk art forms while living in the USA, I subsequently studied and worked with America’s leading contemporary carver, Mark McNair
in Virginia.
I use only traditional carving tools, Atlantic White Cedar and oil paints, the birds have a very individual style and have become highly collectable.
I appear as one of the Craftsmen in the recently publish book by Derek Reay entitled 'Significant Figures in Art & Craft Today’
I am a founder member of the British Decoy and Wildfowl Carvers Association, and a member of the Somerset Guild of Craftsmen.
