The Agriculture Business Centre is set in the heart of Bakewell, amid the rolling hills of beautiful Derbyshire Dales

  The weekends events will include an exhibition of carved birds as well as the BDWCA annual competition for our members
with categories at Novice, Intermediate & Advanced levels.

Highlight of the weekend is the British Championships 2008 for carved birds, which is an open competition with entries coming form non-members as well as BDWCA advance level category winners.

On Sunday there will be a competition for stick makers, the only stipulation being that the handle must be of a bird/birds head.  This will be one class only and entry is open to all.
